Forest Fire Management Victoria’s Assistant Fire Chief Officer, Scott Falconer, was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2017 with the opportunity to travel to North America to research the involvement of indigenous people in land and fire management.

Scott plans to use the knowledge gained from the experience to further develop the traditional burning program Forest Fire Management Victoria has been working in partnership with the Dja Dja Warrung, traditional owners of the land in this region.

Scott approached Friendly Savage to develop his presentation and official report outlining his experience, and explaining lessons learned and recommendations.

We really enjoyed working with Scott on this project and we collaborated with the talented Dale at Studio Ink, who excelled, again with his design work.
